Owner
Ross Dyer has a background in farming, stock agency work and 10 years' experience in the meat industry, with five years in management. Ross' 30 years of hands on experience in the farming sector is complimented by five extremely capable agents.
Having extensive industry knowledge allows Ross to offer a top level service to clients, to assist and add value to their farming business. Alongside being a registered Auctioneer under the Auctioneer Act 2013.

GUY STRANG
Agent
Guy Strang has a farming background of which he is still keenly involved in today.
Guy has spent the past 15 years working in the meat industry. The most recent 11 of these years also selling & sourcing store stock.
Guy see’s the teamwork and use of technology at W.R Dyer Livestock as being a strongpoint in the future success of the company.

JOHN STEPHENS
Agent
John Stephens started his farming life through the Smedley cadetship. Moving into a career that has spanned 25 years. Well known in the rural circles, as he managed a large scale farming operation within the Central Hawke's Bay region. This has given John a huge knowledge of the livestock industry. In this role he was responsible for many staff, negotiating the sales and procurement of stock, which in turn has enabled a natural transition into the role of an agent.
John joined the team in 2013. He is reliable and passionate about the livestock industry, rapidly becoming an integral part of the team. With his experience, motivation and network, he is well placed to assist farmers to make sound business farming decisions.

GRANT HALL
Agent
Grant Hall originates from the King Country Area. With 25 years of experience in the farming industry and the past 10 years as an agent. He is now based in Taupo which gives him a great opportunity to source stock for the team in Hawkes Bay.
He has moved from a dairy based company to Dyer Livestock in order to follow his love of the sheep and beef industry through dealing dry stock.
Grant believes the Dyer Livestock agents are a breath of fresh air with their motivated mentality and drive to do the best for their clients.

CHRIS HAY
Agent
Based in Wanganui, covering a wide patch through the North Island. He has a serious work ethic, going beyond the call to service and work along with his clients.
His desire and drive to satisfy clients stock needs is unquestionable. A serious contender who strives for best sell, best purchase practice. Also providing a strong option for fat stock outlets.

SAM PRINGLE
Agent
Sam originates from the Mainland, farming based from his early days. Moving quickly to adapt to the ways of South Island farming and shepherding, then onto sheep contracting with a conveyor assisting farmers in the region to operate more efficiently. He has maintained his passion for dogs through breeding, developing a network operating around the country. In 2019 Sam relocated north to Central Hawkes Bay for a manager’s role within a large scale trading operation.
He is young, keen and passionate about the stock industry, enjoying the daily challenge in finding the right options for clients. Sam is looking forward to building relationships and business under the W.R. Dyer Livestock brand.
